This movie has been in my backup drive along with my other downloaded movies for quite a while now. I don’t know why, but everytime I’m in the mood to watch or scare myself, I ended up watching the old movies. You know, The Ring, The Grudge, etc.
Anyway, I’m glad I finally decided to watch The Awakening. The story is really good. In fact, if I’ll rate this movie, I’d go for 9/10. Near perfect. I love the twist and the actors and actresses involved. I love everything about it. I don’t think the movie will make you jump from your seat nor make you scream. It’s enough to scare you in a way.

And because I loved it a lot, right after I watched it the first time last Sunday, I decided to see it again yesterday. Just to check if I miss any clues, you know. There are lots of red herrings that you have to look out for. The ending was saddening and shocking. As I’ve mentioned earlier, the twist of the story is not something I was expecting for.
